Language

Select a language for your phone.

Time & date

Set the clock of the phone (See "Set

 

clock" on page 9 and "Display local

 

and international clocks" on page

 

9).

 

Auto power-on time: Set time for the

 

phone to be switched on

 

automatically.

 

Auto power-off time: Set time for the

 

phone to be switched off

 

automatically.

Pen

This menu allows you to calibrate

Security setup This menu allows you to use passwords to protect your SIM card, phone, and information stored on the phone.

PIN protection: Set PIN or PIN2 password protection for your SIM card. (The PIN or PIN2 are provided by the network operator.

)

Change PIN and Change PIN2: Change your PIN and PIN2 passwords as desired.

If you enter an incorrect PIN code three times in succession, the PIN code of your SIM card will be locked automatically and you will be prompted to enter the PUK code to unlock it. You can obtain the PUK code from your network operator. If you enter an incorrect PUK code ten times in succession, the SIM card will be locked permanently. When this happens, please contact your network operator or retailer.
