The phone provides a means for entering alphanumeric characters to enter details into the Phonebook, to create text and e-mail messages etc. This section details the characters that can be entered and the relevant keys to press.

*Z * once to enter a single capital letter (subsequent characters will be lower case). Z * twice acts as a keyboard CAPS LOCK function and subsequent characters will be uppercase. Z * a third time, to return to lowercase character entry.

Alternatively, Z+ Hold any of the numeric keys to enter the character menu, which allows the user to navigate around the menu (g) until the required character is highlighted.Z Q to select.
