Using Tap Method

This is the standard method for entering text on your phone.

Tap method cycles through the letters and numbers of the key you press.

When you enter text with Tap method, the soft key functions change.

In a text entry screen, you can press * to switch entry modes. The entry mode is displayed in the upper left corner as the * is pressed.

Character displays at insertion point.

Press the B key to delete character to the left of the insertion point.

After 2 seconds, character is accepted and the cursor moves to the next position.

Press Cancel to exit without making changes.
