Calling with 1-Touch Dial

To call Contacts entries 1 through 9, press and hold the single-digit speed dial number for 1 second.

Using Voicemail

Voicemail messages that you receive are stored on the network. To listen to your messages, you must call your voicemail phone number.

Your service provider may include additional information about using this feature.

Listening to Voicemail Messages

Press Menu > Messaging > Voicemail

The phone calls your voicemail phone number. If no voicemail number is stored, your phone prompts you to store a number.

Receiving a Voicemail Message

When you receive a voicemail message, your phone displays the t (voicemail message) indicator and a New Voicemail notification.

Press Call key to listen to the message.

The phone calls your voicemail phone number. If no voicemail number is stored, your phone prompts you to store a number.

Muting a Call

1. Press Mute key.

Using DTMF Tones

You can send numbers to the network as dual tone multi-frequency (DTMF) tones during a call. Use DTMF tones to communicate with automated systems that require you to submit a PIN code, password, or credit card number.

To set DTMF tones to be long, short, or off:

Press Menu > Settings > Initial Setup

1.Press S to scroll to DTMF.

2.Press Change key to access the list of DTMF options.

3.Press S to scroll to the desired options.

4.Press Select key to select the DTMF option.

Short sends a short, fixed-duration tone for each key you press. Long sends each tone for as long as you press the key. Some systems (such as home answering machines) may require long tones for proper activation.

Sending DTMF Tones During a Call

Using the Keypad

1.Press keypad keys to enter a number to send.

2.Press Options to open the Call Menu.

3.Press S to scroll to Send Tones.

4.Press Select key to send the number to the network as DTMF tones.

Sending a Stored Number

During a call, highlight a number in Contacts or the Recent Calls lists, then:

Press N to make the call.
