4 Explore the Setup Application

The Setup application is designed to help you learn about navigation and typing, change options to personalize your BlackBerry device, and set up network connections. You can also set up email addresses. The Setup application should appear automatically the first time you turn on your device.

To access the Setup application at any time, tap Setup .

Note: For more information about selecting and setting up your email options, please see “Setting Up Email” on page 10.

BlackBerry ID

 

 

BlackBerry® ID gives you quick and easy access to a variety of BlackBerry apps and services including the BlackBerry App World™ storefront.

Create a BlackBerry ID

Create a BlackBerry ID using an email address and a password of your choice. Use it to access selected BlackBerry products or services.

1.When you see the BlackBerry ID sign-in screen, enter your email address and password, and then tap Create New. (If you already have a BlackBerry ID, tap Sign In, enter your sign-in information and you’re all set.)

2.Read the BlackBerry ID terms and conditions. If you agree to the terms, tap I Accept.

3.Follow the prompts to create your BlackBerry ID.
