1.Remove the battery cover and battery.

2.Slide the SIM card into the SIM card holder

3.Replace the battery and battery cover.

(See “Insert the Battery and Memory Card*” on page 5.)

Activating Global Roaming Mode

Your BlackBerry device is designed to enter global roaming mode automatically when you activate your Sprint Worldwide service, meaning that it should automatically connect to an appropriate CDMA network or GSM/UMTS network when you travel. You may also set global roaming options by tapping the Manage Connections icon on the Home screen.

To set your global roaming optionsmanually:

Tap Manage Connections > Networks and Connections > Mobile Network.

To connect to GSM/UMTS networks only, set the Network Technology field to GSM/ UMTS option. To optimize network coverage, set the Network Mode field to one of the following: 2G & 3G or 2G and 3G/4G.

To connect to CDMA networks only, set the Network Technology field to 3G

To connect to available CDMA or GSM/UMTS networks, set the Network Technology field to Global.
