6.1Accessing the Phonebook

You can save up to 2000 contacts to the phonebook of the media phone. In addition, you can save up to four numbers to each contact.

To access the phonebook, you can choose any of the following methods:

zTap on the home screen.

zTap on the home screen to display the list of functions, and then tap Contacts. The following table lists the icons and their descriptions in the phonebook.

Creating a Contact

To create a contact, do as follows:

Step 1 Access the Contacts screen, and then tap New. Step 2 On the New screen, tap the Name text box. Step 3 Enter the contact name.

Step 4 Tap OK to save the name and exit.

Step 5 On the New screen, tap the group drop-down list, and then select a group. (See "Managing Groups" on page 28.)

Step 6 Tap the text box corresponding to the number type as required (mobile, home, office, or fax).
