If PIN code dialing is set to ON (see “PIN Code Dialing” on Page 46), the phone displays PIN CALL then WAIT FOR PROMPT. Press again after you hear the tone to send your PIN code and complete the call.

Notes:

NO SVC (no service) appears if you are out- side the cellular service area. See “Signal Strength.”

NOT ALLOWED briefly appears if you try to make a restricted call (see “Selecting a Call Restriction Level” on Page 26).

Signal Strength

The vertical bar on the left of the display shows the strength of the cellular signal your phone is receiving. The higher the bar, the stronger the signal.

If the signal strength is low, try moving to a different location. If you are using the phone in a building, try moving closer to a window.

If NO SVC appears, the phone is outside the cellu- lar service area. This means you cannot make or receive calls until you move the phone back inside the cellular service area.
