Entries in the Phonebook (on the SIM card) are managed separately from those in the Addressbook. You can, however, exchange data between the Phonebook and the Address- book.

HOpen Phonebook (in standby mode).

H Select <New Entry>.

E Confirm.

ISelect and fill in the input fields. The maximum number of characters available is displayed at the top of the screen.

Number: Always enter phone num- ber with area code.

Name: Enter first and/or last names.

Group: Phone numbers may be assigned to the VIP group.

Location Select the storage location SIM or Protected SIM (PIN2 required).

Record no.:

Is automatically assigned to the entry.

§Save§ Press to store the new entry.
