International dialling codes

Many international dialling codes are stored in your phone.

In standby mode (0not necessary when dialling from the Phonebook):

0 Hold down until a "+" is displayed. This replaces the first two digits of the international dialling code.

§+List§ Press.

Select the required country.

The international dialling code is dis- played. Now add the national number (in many countries without the first digit) and press the Call key.

JAD Š and JAR Á

Three file types occur when using Java™:

The JAD file (Java Descriptor)

These files contain information on the application (JAR file) and its ad- dress for download. When a JAD file is activated, the connection to the Internet is established and the exe- cutable application is loaded.

The JAR file (Java archive)

These files include the executable applications. When a JAR file is acti- vated, the application is started.

Combined files

These files result from JAR files being loaded via JAD files. In this case the JAD file is added to the JAR file. The display icon is the same as for JAR files.

Java

Java™ represents the best method to use numerous games and applica- tions on your mobile phone. You can download these applications from the Internet and install them on your mobile phone. The application can be started after installation. Please refer to the operating instructions for each application.

Siemens does not guarantee that the downloaded and installed Java™ ap- plications work well with your mo- bile phone (see also p. 36).

¨Message store full

The SIM memory is full when the message symbol flashes. No more SMS messages can be received. Delete or save messages (p. 25).
