3) Make sure that the charge/in use LED illuminates. If the LED does not illuminate, check to see that the AC adapter is plugged in and that the handset makes good contact with the base's charging contacts.

Note:

Connect the AC adapter to a continuous power supply (not controlled by a wall switch).

Place the base unit close to the AC outlet to avoid long

extension cords.

• Charge your handset at least 15 - 20 hours before plugging into the phone line.

4) Once the handset battery pack is fully charged, connect the telephone line cord to the TEL LINE jack and a telephone outlet. If your telephone outlet isn't modular, contact your telephone company for assistance.
