Key Tone

This function allows you to select the sound you hear when you press the phone’s keys.

Press the [Menu] Soft key then select 6.Settings then select 2.Sound Settings then press the [Edit] Soft key then select 4.Key Tone, or press the [u] key and the [Edit] Soft key in Standby mode then select 4.Key Tone.

You can personalize the following.

Tone Type: Specifies whether key tones are turned on or off.

Ring Volume: Specifies the key tone’s loudness. You can choose from eight levels ranging from silent to loud (0~7).

Sound: Specifies the key tone sound.

Slide Tone

This function allows you to select the sound you hear when you open or close your phone’s slide.

Press the [Menu] Soft key then select 6.Settings then select 2.Sound Settings then press the [Edit] Soft key then select 5.Slide Tone, or press the [u] key and the [Edit] Soft key in Standby mode then select 5.Slide Tone.

Settings

You can personalize the following.

Tone Type: Specifies whether your phone’s slider tone is turned on or off.

Ring Volume: Specifies the slider tone’s loudness. You can choose from eight levels ranging from silent to loud (0~7).

Sound: Specifies the slider tone. You can choose from Bell 1, Bell 2, or Bell 3.

Sound Effect

This function allows you to turn the default sound effect on or off for various events.

Press the [Menu] Soft key then select 6.Settings then select 2.Sound Settings then press the [Edit] Soft key then select 6.Sound Effect, or press the [u] key and the [Edit] Soft key in Standby mode then select 6.Sound Effect.

You can specify whether the sound effect is played for the following events.

Menu Moving: When you change a menu with the Navigation key.

Power On & Off: When you turn the power on or off.

Option Popup: When you press the [(] Soft key and a popup window is displayed.
