WAP

You can access the Internet with a WAP (Wireless

Application Protocol) browser on your phone.

This means you can connect to the Internet anywhere and anytime you have network coverage.

NOTE: The descriptions below may vary depending on your service provider. Ask your service provider for detailed information.

Press the [Menu] Soft key [(] then select 8.Connectivity then select 1.WAP.

Tip:

Press the [o] key to access the WAP menu directly.

Entering text in the WAP browser

When you are asked to input text, the current text input mode is displayed above the right Soft key. (For further details, see Input Mode on page 34.)

Home

This function contacts your network to load your Wireless Web service provider’s homepage. Press the [Menu] Soft key [(] then select 8.Connectivity then select 1.WAP then select 1.Home.

Navigating using the WAP browser

To scroll through and select browser items, press the [u] or [d] scroll key until the item you want is highlighted then press the [o] key.

To display the next or previous page, press the [d] or [u] scroll key, respectively.

To return to the previous page, press the [c] key.

To return to the startup homepage, press the [Option] Soft key [(] then select Home.

Resume

This function allows you to reconnect to the Web page displayed most recently.

Press the [Menu] Soft key [(] then select 8.Connectivity then select 1.WAP then select 2.Resume.

Bookmarks

This function allows you to bookmark an Internet address using the WAP browser just as you do with a PC Internet browser.
