3STORING CONTACTS

Use your phone’s Contacts directory to store information about a person or company. Your phone can hold, on average, approximately 100 phone numbers.

Creating a new contact

1.From the home screen, enter the phone number you want to save, including the area code.

Note: To save a contact without entering a phone number, select Menu Contacts Add New, select an option, and skip to step 3.

2.Press to select Options.

3.Press to select Save New.

4.Select the type of number: Mobile, Home,

or Work and press .

5.Press up to select Name and press .

6.Enter a name for the contact and press . If you need to learn how to enter letters, see page 13.

7.Press to select Options.

8.Press to select Save.

Adding a code or extension

When you save the phone number of an automated service, you may include a pause where your phone would stop dialing; for example, where you would wait to dial an extension.

1.Enter the first portion of the phone number.

2.Press to select Options.

3.Press down to select a type of pause:

Time Pause

Hard Pause

4.Enter the remaining numbers.

5.Press to select Options.

6.Press to select Save New and follow the prompts.

Adding a contact to a group

To add a contact to a group:

1.Select Menu Contacts View All and

press .

2.Highlight a contact in the list and press .

3.Select Options Edit and press . You are now in edit mode.

4.Press down to select None and

press .

5.Select your desired group from the list and

press .
