Restoring a Locked micro-SIM Card

Put all your confidential passwords in a safe place for future use. If you enter the wrong micro-SIM PIN more times than allowed, your micro-SIM card will be locked and you cannot access the mobile phone network.

Contact your operator for a PIN Unlock Key (PUK) to restore the micro-SIM card.

Managing Your Device Memory

Press the Home Key > Menu Key > System settings > Storage. You can view the space information of the microSDHC card as well as the phone storage.

Unmount/Mount SD card: You can unmount the microSDHC card to safely remove it, or mount the card.

Erase SD card: Erase all data on the microSDHC card.

NOTE: Please unmount the microSDHC card before removing it.

Privacy: Reset to Factory Settings

1.Press the Home Key > Menu Key > System settings > Backup & reset > Factory data reset > Reset phone.

2.Tap Erase everything.

WARNING! All your personal information and downloaded applications on your phone will be erased after the resetting.

Managing Applications

Press the Home Key > Menu Key > System settings > Apps.

Tap an app in the DOWNLOADED, ON SD CARD, RUNNING, or ALL tab to see its information. You can stop the app, uninstall or disable the app, clear data and cache, or move the app between the internal storage and the memory card.

NOTE: Not all applications can be moved or uninstalled.

Installing an Application

You can install a free or paid application from the Play Store (the Home Key > Play Store) by selecting the item you want to download and tapping Install.

You can also install an application from sources other than the Play Store if you have allowed the installation of it. To allow the installation, press the Home Key

>Menu Key > System settings > Security and check the Unknown sources check box and accept the warning.

Make sure that you select an application developed for your phone and processor type before installing it.

1.Press the Home Key > > File Manager, and open the download folder where the application file is.

2.Tap the file to start installation.

3.Read the installation instructions that come with the application and follow it to complete the setup.

Managing Other Settings

Search Settings

You can manage your phone search settings and Google Search options by opening the Google Search application and pressing the Menu Key > Settings.

Google Now: Set the cards that Google Now will present.

Notifications: Choose which Notifications you will receive.

My stuff: Set your locations, reminders, sports teams, and stocks.

Voice: Adjust the following voice search related settings:

Language: Select the language you use when entering text by speaking or searching by speaking.

Speech output: Control when the phone should output speeches.

Block offensive words: Replace offensive words with an asterisk (*) when you use Google voice recognition to transcribe your voice into text.

Offline speech recognition: Enable voice input while you’re off the Internet.

Personalized recognition: Select to improve speech recognition accuracy.

Google Account dashboard: Manage your collected data.

Bluetooth headset: Let the phone listen to your voice through a Bluetooth headset if it is connected with your phone.

Phone search: Select the types of data on the phone that is included in the search results.

Privacy & accounts: Manage location history, web history, recent searches, and location services.

Data Usage

Press the Home Key > Menu Key > System settings > Data usage. Slide the On/Off switch to turn on or off mobile data.

You can check how much data has been used during the time cycle you set, set a mobile data limit and warning, see what apps have been using mobile data, or restrict background data for individual apps.

VPN

Press the Home Key > Menu Key > System settings > More > VPN to manage and connect to Virtual private networks (VPNs).

Depending on the type of VPN you are using, you may be required to enter your login credentials or install security certificates before you can connect to your
