1Getting Started

1.1Install the USIM Card

The USIM card (Universal Subscriber Interface Module) is the small plastic chip with gold contacts supplied by Telstra. This contains your phone number and acts as a store for your contacts. It can be moved between different phones if required. Insert this with the gold contacts facing down and the bevelled edge on the left hand. Slide it into the carrier as shown below:
