Using Your Phone

Multitap text entry

Multitap text entry enables you to enter individual letters. This is ideal for adding a phonebook entry or entering a WAP address.

When you press a key, the assigned characters appear in the upper right of the screen. Press the key repeatedly to scroll through these characters. Pause, and the selected letter appears on the screen.

Here is a table showing Roman alphabet characters and their assigned keys.
