Use the Bluetooth wireless feature

Learn about your phone’s ability to connect to other wireless devices for exchanging data and using hands-free features.

Turn on the Bluetooth wireless feature

1.In Menu mode, select Bluetooth.

2.Select the circle in the centre to turn on the Bluetooth wireless feature. The icon turns blue when Bluetooth is activated.

3.To allow other devices to locate your phone, select More  Settings and under My Phone’s Visibility select On  a visibility option Save.

If you selected Custom, set the duration that your phone will be visible.

4. Select Save.

To conserve battery power, activate Bluetooth only when needed.

Find and pair with other Bluetooth- enabled devices

1.In Menu mode, select Bluetooth  Search.

2.Select a device icon and drag it to the phone icon at the centre of the screen.

3.Enter a PIN for the Bluetooth wireless feature or the other device’s Bluetooth PIN, if it has one, and select Done.

When the owner of the other device enters the same PIN or accepts the connection, pairing is complete.

PIN may not be required, depending on the device.
