Features and Benefits

The Avocent Emerge® EMS series of media streaming products empower you to distribute your analog video and stereo sound to many remote destinations. Using standard UTP structured cabling, you can deliver very high video resolutions to multiple display screens located up to 1000 feet (600 feet for EMS1000P models) away from the source PC system. The high quality circuitry housed within every Emerge EMS product ensures that both image and sound are true to their source.

The standard configuration of an Emerge EMS transmitter and receiver pair is only the beginning. Thanks to sensible design and no-nonsense build quality you can expand your installation at any time using additional Emerge EMS units to keep pace with your project.

Configuration Possibilities

There are two different Emerge EMS transmitter/receiver types available, the choice of which unit you use depends upon how many display/speaker locations need to be driven:

Emerge EMS1000P provides a single transmitter and single receiver capable of directly supporting two remote screen and speaker sets. The transmitter can additionally support a local screen and speaker set located adjacent to the source system. Expansion

is made possible by connecting further EMS1000P transmitters to the original unit, each supporting their own EMS1000P receiver units.
