Automatic clock adjustment

Automatic clock adjustment

When shipped from the factory, the clock built in this unit is set to be readjusted automatically using the CT (Clock Time) data in the RDS signal.

If you do not want to use automatic clock adjustment, follow the procedure below.

• See also “Changing the general settings (PSM)” on page 31.

1Press and hold SEL (Select) for more than 2 seconds so one of the PSM items appears on the display.

2Press PTY codes¢or 4 Manual background until “AUTO ADJUST” appears on the display.

3Press – to select “ADJUST OFF.”

4Press SEL again to finish the setting.

To reactivate clock adjustment, repeat the same procedure and select “ADJUST ON” in step 3 by pressing +.

Note:

It takes about 2 minutes to adjust the time using the CT data. So, you must tune to the station for more than 2 minutes continuously; otherwise, the clock time will not be adjusted.
