Control your speed by pressing and releasing the accelerator lever.

To stop, release the accelerator handle and depress the BRAKE LEVER (on the left side of the handlebars).

When you are done riding the Powerboard you can fold it down for compact storage, carrying and transportation.

To fold down the Powerboard, use one hand to push down on the FOLDING HANDLE, while using the other to gently push down on the handlebars. BE CAREFUL NOT TO HIT YOUR HEAD WITH THE HANDLEBAR. Push down until you feel the mechanism lock into place.

You can now carry the Powerboard by the handlebar tube.

BRAKING SYSTEM

The Powerboard uses a front wheel disc/calliper system activated by a hand lever (on the left side of the handlebar). The brake is activated by squeezing the BRAKE LEVER with your left hand. The powerboard also has a rear-wheel friction brake that is activated by stepping on the pedal located at the rear of the deck.

Practice braking on a smooth, dry surface to get used to the feel of the braking system. Braking distance is affected by wet conditions and loose or uneven riding surfaces. Always be aware of the surface you are riding on and provide plenty of distance for stopping.

TPB-350GX, TPB-400GX specifications

The Tanaka TPB-400GX and TPB-350GX are renowned portable brushcutters designed for both professional landscapers and home gardening enthusiasts. These high-performance tools are engineered to tackle a variety of tough cutting tasks with ease, making them popular choices among users seeking reliability and efficiency.

One of the key features of the TPB-400GX is its robust 40.2cc two-stroke engine, delivering exceptional power and torque. This engine allows the machine to cut through dense vegetation and grass with minimal effort, making it ideal for clearing larger areas or maintaining overgrown landscapes. In contrast, the TPB-350GX is equipped with a smaller yet capable 34.4cc engine, which strikes a balance between power and lightweight design, catering to users who prefer a more manageable tool for lighter tasks.

Both models are designed with user comfort in mind. They feature anti-vibration technology, which minimizes hand fatigue during extended use, allowing operators to work longer without discomfort. The adjustable harness provided with each unit ensures that weight distribution is optimized, enhancing user stability and control.

In terms of cutting technology, both the TPB-400GX and TPB-350GX come equipped with a semi-automatic trimmer head, which simplifies line feed while maximizing efficiency. The dual-line cutting system effectively increases coverage while reducing the time spent on trimming tasks. Moreover, the straight shaft design on both models enhances reach and accessibility, particularly in hard-to-reach areas such as under fences or shrubs.

Durability is a hallmark of the Tanaka brand, and these brushcutters are no exception. Constructed from high-quality materials, both models are resistant to wear and tear, ensuring longevity even in demanding conditions. The TPB-400GX and TPB-350GX also feature an easy-start mechanism, allowing for quick ignition without the frustrating pull starts commonly associated with traditional two-stroke engines.

Overall, the Tanaka TPB-400GX and TPB-350GX are excellent choices for users seeking powerful, versatile, and durable brushcutters. With their combination of advanced technology, user-friendly features, and reliable performance, these models stand out in the competitive landscape of outdoor power equipment.
