Singing Along Using the Stereo Discs INFO

—Vocal Masking

You can enjoy singing along while playing a stereo disc. Vocal Masking reduces the lead vocal of any disc except DVD Audio (MX-JE5 only).

When playing a Karaoke disc in Vocal Masking Mode, the vocal may not be reduced or the volume may be lower.

1Turn MIC LEVEL to MIN.

2Connect the microphone(s) (not supplied) to the MIC 1 and/or MIC 2 jacks.

3Insert and start playing a stereo disc.

4Activate Vocal Masking Mode.

6Adjust the MIC LEVEL and VOLUME.

To cancel from the Vocal Masking Mode, select “OFF” in step 4 or change the source to play.

Microphone Mixing

You can enjoy microphone mixing by using two microphones.

1Turn MIC LEVEL to MIN.

2Connect the microphone(s) (not supplied) to the MIC 1 and/or MIC 2 jack.

3Start playing the source—FM, AM, disc player, tape, or auxiliary equipment connected to the AUX jacks.

4Activate the Mic Mixing Mode.
