HOW TO USE THE TACHYMETER
(For those models which include a tachymeter with a graduated dial)

Note: Some models have a dial with 12 graduations. To read, multiply the number shown by 5.

First, press button A to show stopwatch display.
Press button B to start and stop.
Set “60” on the rotating bezel to the 12 o’clock position.
The tachymeter can be used for the following purpose.
(1)To measure the hourly average speed of a vehicle with the
stopwatch display to determine how many seconds it takes to go one kilometer (or mile).

| The tachymeter scale gives the average speed per hour | |
B | using a maximum of 60 seconds as the standard. For | |
instance, if it takes 40 seconds to go one kilometer (or mile), | ||

| look at “40” on the dial and the figure outside the “40” | |
| indicates 90 on the tachymeter scale. This means the | |
A | average speed of the automobile is 90 kilometers (or miles) | |
per hour. | ||
