Listening to the External Equipment
You can listen to the external equipment such as MD recorder, cas- sette deck, or other auxiliary.
❏First, make sure that the external equipment is properly connect- ed to the System. (See page 6.)
1 Set the volume level to the minimum posi- tion.
2 Press the AUX button.
“AUX” appears on the display.
3 Start playing the external equipment.
4 Adjust the volume level to the level you want listen to.
5 Apply sound effects, if you wish.
•Press the ACTIVE BASS EX. to reinforce the bass sound.
•Select the Sound Mode. (See page 8.)
To exit AUX mode, select other source (e.g. Tuner).
•For operation of the external equipment, refer to its In- structions.
Recording the System's source to External Equipment
You can record the System's source to external equipment which is connected to the LINE OUT terminals of the System, such as cassette deck or MD recorder,etc.
❏First make sure that the external equipment is properly connect- ed to the System.(See page 6.)
1 Play a CD,Video CD or MP3,or tune into a sta- tion.
❏The recording level is not affected by the VOLUME level set by the System. Also it is not affected by the sound effects.
•For operation of the external equipment,refer to its In- structions.
Dubbing the Video CD into the
VCR
You can dub the movie of the Video CD into the VCR.
1 Connect the video output to a VCR's video input.
2 Connect the line output to a VCR's audio L/R input.
3 Play a Video CD.
❏The recording level is not affected by the VOLUME level set by the System. Also it is not affected by the sound effects.
