Presetting Automatic DVD Video Sound

Increase Level

DVD Video sound is sometimes recorded at a lower level than other discs and sources. You can set the increase level for the currently loaded DVD Video, so you do not have to adjust the volume when you change the source.

This only functions for DVD Video and DVD-VR format disc.

AHB PRO NORMALMEDIUM

HIGH

NORMAL Original recording level.

MEDIUM Output level is increased (less than “HIGH”).

HIGH Output level is increased (more than “MEDIUM”). (initial setting)

Adjusting the Audio Input Level

If the sound from the component connected to the LINE IN jack is too loud or is too quiet when changing from another source to LINE, you can change the audio input level through the LINE IN jack (without changing the volume level).

L.IN LVL1 Select this when the sound is too loud with “L.IN LVL 2” selected. This setting is recommended when connecting an audio device other than a portable audio device to the LINE IN jack.

L.IN LVL2 Select this when the sound is too loud with “L.IN LVL 3” selected.

L.IN LVL3 Select this when listening to a portable audio device or recording the sound from it (initial setting).

If the recorded sound on the device connected to the LINE OUT jack is too loud or too quiet, you can change the audio output level through the LINE OUT jack (without changing the volume level).
