Next, insert the key into the console. After a mo- ment, the four displays, the LED track, and various indicators on the console will light.

Note: The console can display speed and distance in either miles or kilometers (see SPEED/MIN-MILE DIS- PLAY on page 11). For simplicity, all instructions in this manual refer to miles.

When the key is in- serted, the manual mode will be selected and the MANUAL indi- cator will light. If a pro- gram has been se-

lected, press the PROGRAM button repeatedly to select the manual mode.

The LED Track--The LED track represents a distance of 1/4 mile. As

you exercise, the indica- tors around the track will

light one at a time until you have completed 1/4 mile. A new lap will then begin.
