4.When you have finished washing, pull out the detergent drawer a little to let it to dry out. Keep the door very slightly open so that the washing machine can air.

If (RINSE HOLD) has been selected:

Following a rinse hold (END) will be lit on the programme progress display.

The water must first be drained off:

Either turn the programme knob to (OFF), then to (DRAIN) and

press the button (START/PAUSE) (the water will be drained without spinning),

turn the programme knob to (OFF) and then to (SPIN). Change

the spin speed, if necessary, and press the button (START/ PAUSE) (the water will be drained and the washing spun).

Child safety device

When the child safety device is set, the door can no longer be closed.

Setting the child safety device: Use a coin to turn the knob (on the inside of the door) in a clockwise di- rection as far as it will go.

1 Warning! The knob must not be sunk-in after being set, otherwise the child safety device is not active. The knob must stand proud as shown in the illustration.

Releasing the child safety device:

Turn the knob anti-clockwise as far as it will go.
