Twisted cord.
•Check Temperature Control Dial and set to lower setting. Allow iron to cool down 5 minutes before continuing.
•If the cord should become twisted, first clear the steam vents and empty water from water tank. See “How to clean” section. Then turn iron to OFF (O), turn Temperature Control Dial to OFF (O), and unplug iron. Let cool. Make sure all water has been emptied from iron; then hold iron cord in the middle of entire length. Let plug and iron dangle freely until cord uncoils. This will extend the life of your iron cord.
Retractable cord will not unwind (on select models).
•Rewind a small amount of cord then fully depress the Cord Release Button and pull the cord to desired length.
