Select an item on the disc by using the number buttons
NOTE
• Set the remote control mode selector to AUDIO before using the number buttons.
•For a VCD or SVCD, this operation can be carried out when the disc is stopped, or during playback without the PBC function.
•For a DVD AUDIO, CD, MP3/WMA or JPEG, this operation can also be carried out when the disc is stopped.
•For a DVD VIDEO, you can select the title before playing, and you can select chapter while playing.
•This operation may not be carried out for some discs.
Use number buttons to select the item you want to play.
•Refer to “How to use the number buttons” on page 15.
To stop playback
Press 7 during playback.
To pause playback
Press 8 during playback.
To start normal playback again, press DVD/CD 3.
•For JPEG
To advance picture frame-by-frame
Press 8 during pause.
•Each time you press the button, picture will be advanced
Fast reverse/Fast forward search
Press 1 or y during playback.
•Each time you press the button, the speed increases (X2, X5, X10, X20, X60). To restore the normal speed, press DVD/CD 3.
NOTE
•For MP3 and WMA discs/files, the search speed shown on the TV is different from described above.
•While playing moving pictures, no sound comes out during Fast reverse/Fast forward search.
•For a CD or DVD AUDIO, sound is intermittent during Fast reverse/Fast forward search.
