Child lock

Activating the childproof lock

You can secure your washing machine to prevent selected functions from being inadvertently changed.

If the childproof lock has been selected:

-No changes can be made while the programme running,

- Should

appliance

switched

off

a programme is running the programme will

continue

at

the point

at

which it

was

interrupted

-The door remains locked at the end of the programme,

-Directly after the appliance is switched on -

provided no programme was active the last time the appliance was switched off - all control elements are disabled and the door is locked.

i If the childproof lock is active and the programm selector is rotated while a programme is running, the indicator light of the programme selector goe out. The indicator light illuminates again when the programme selector is returned to its original position.

i When a programme has started, you can activate the childproof lock in •Pause" mode only.

￿Turn the programme selector to the desired programme.

￿Load the laundry and close the loading door. The •Start/Pause" indicator light flashes (red).

Example:

￿Press the •Menu" button until •Child lock: OFF" displayed.

The $•" symbol flashes.

i The menu is left if a button is not pressed with 10￿seconds.
