Installation and connection instructions

Electrical connection

Details of the mains voltage, current

type and required fuses can be found on the rating plate. The ra- ting plate is located at the top above the filling door.

For permanent electrical connection within the electrical circuit, provi-

sions must be made which allow for electrical disconnection of the ap- pliance from the mains with a contact opening of at least 3 mm at all poles. Suitable devices include circuit breakers, fuses (threaded fuses must be entirely removed from the socket), ground fault circuit inter- rupters and contactors. Permanent connection may only be carried out by an authorised electrician.

;This appliance complies with the following EC directives:

The "Low Voltage Directive" 72/23/EU with changes

The "EMC Directive" 89/336/EU with changes

Water connection

3

The washing machine has safety features which prevent back-contami-

nation of the drinking water and which conform to the national regu-

lations of the water authorities (e.g. for Germany: DVGW guidelines). This means that additional protective measures in the installation are not necessary.

Important!

– Units for connecting to cold water must not be connected to hot wa- ter.

– Use only new hose sets for the connection.

Permissible water pressure

The water pressure must be at least 1 bar (= 10 N/cm2 = 0.1 Mpa), max- imum 10 bar = 100 N/cm2 = 1 Mpa).

If more than 10 bar: Connect a pressure-reduction valve upstream.

If less than 1 bar: Unscrew the inlet hose on the unit side at the sole- noid intake valve and remove the flow regulator (to do this, remove the filter with pointed pliers and take out the rubber washer behind). Replace the filter.
