PAR Technologies V5 manual # /opt/parastation/bin/psiadmin psiadmin add, Testing

Page 88

Provided the ParaStation daemon is started by the xinetd, run the psiadmin(1) command located in / opt/parastation/bin and execute the add command. This will bring up the ParaStation daemon psid(8) on every node.

#/opt/parastation/bin/psiadmin psiadmin> add

Alternatively you can start psiadmin(1) with the -soption.

To install the ParaStation daemon as a system service, started up at boot time, use

# chk_config -a /etc/init.d/parastation

This step must be repeated for each node.

7.Testing

A brief test of the entire communication and management system can be accomplished by using the test_nodes(1) command. For a detailed description please refer to Section 4.3, “Testing the installation”.
