Setting up your system

TV connections

In this menu you can set the aspect ratio (screen shape) of the TV your set-top box connects to. Also you can set the aspect conversion – how you want the set-top box to deal with programmes created for a TV with a different screen shape (wide (16:9) or square (4:3) for example). You can also give details of the video connection format you want to use from the set-top box to the TV using the Scart connection.

To display the TV connection settings menu, do the following.

1Use the Up and Down buttons to highlight ‘TV connection settings’.

2Press the OK button.

3The ‘TV connection settings’ menu will be shown. See below.
