■No ponga a funcionar este aparato si está dañado, si funciona mal, si está parcialmente desarmado o si tiene partes rotas o faltantes, incluyendo un cable o clavija en malas condiciones.

■El interior de la máquina y la conexión del tubo de escape a dentro de la secadora debe limpiarse al menos una vez la año por un instalador capacitado. Vea la sección Cargar y usar la secadora.

■Si la suya es una secadora de gas, estará equipada con un mecanismo de ignición eléctrica y no tiene una luz piloto. NO INTENTE ENCENDERLA UTILIZANDO UN FOSFORO. Puede sufrir quemaduras por colocar la mano cerca del quemador cuando se encienda la ignición automática.

■Tal vez quiera suavizar las telas que haya lavado o reducir la electricidad estática de las mismas usando un suavizante para telas que se aplique en la secadora o un acondicionador anti-estática. CUANDO NO USE SU SECADORA

■Cuando desconecte este aparato tire de la clavija y no del cable para evitar que se dañe el cable o la unión entre el cable y la clavija. Asegúrese de que el cable se localice en un sitio en donde no lo puedan pisar, tropezar con él o que no esté sujeto a daño o tensión.

■No repare ni reemplace ninguna parte de este aparato ni intente llevar a cabo ningún servicio a menos que esté recomendado de manera específica en este Manual del propietario o que esté publicado en instructivos de reparaciones hechas por el usuario que usted comprenda bien y que sea capaz de llevar a la práctica.

■Antes de deshacerse de una secadora o si ya no está en servicio, quite la puerta de la secadora para impedir a los niños de esconderse adentro.

■No manipule indebidamente los controles.
