7.(OPTIONAL STEP) Your washer has a CYCLE/BLEACH SIGNAL. This allows you to select a cycle signal at the end of any wash cycle and/or a signal to alert you when to add liquid chlorine bleach to your wash load.
■The end of Cycle Signal is helpful when you are washing items that should be removed from the washer as soon as the cycle ends.
■The Bleach Signal alerts you when to add liquid chlorine bleach to your wash cycle after your detergent has had time to work. See “Adding liquid chlorine bleach.”
Using the CYCLE/BLEACH SIGNAL
■Set the selector to OFF/OFF if you do not desire an end of Cycle Signal or a Bleach Signal.
■Set the selector to ON/OFF for an end of Cycle Signal only.
■Set the selector to ON/ON for an end of Cycle Signal and a Bleach Signal.
8.Push in the Cycle Control knob and turn it clockwise to the wash cycle you want. Reduce the wash time when using a small load size setting. See “Selecting a Cycle and Time.”
Pull out the Cycle Control knob to start the washer.
To stop or restart your washer
■To stop the washer at any time, push in the Cycle Control knob.
■To restart the washer, close the lid (if open) and pull out the Cycle Control knob.
Adding liquid chlorine bleach
Pour measured liquid chlorine bleach into the liquid chlorine bleach dispenser. Bleach will be dispensed automatically into the wash load.
Selecting a Cycle andTime
This section describes the available wash cycles and will help you make the best cycle selections for your wash loads. Each cycle is designed for different types of fabric and soil levels.
■The washer pauses briefly throughout each cycle. These pauses are normal. Refer to “Normal Washer Sounds” to learn more about the sounds you may hear during a wash cycle.
■Refer to “Understanding Washer Cycles” to learn what happens during a wash cycle.
