Setting the record timer and the wake-up timer

You can set the record timer together with the wake-up timer (described on page 32)— to record a radio program with the record timer, then later start playing a CD at the time set by the wake-up timer, for example. Be careful, however, to leave at least a minute between the end time for one timer and the start time of the another. If the start and end times overlap or are the same, the later timer will not operate correctly.

Resetting the tape counter

The tape deck has a digital tape counter which resets to zero each time you load a cassette or switch the power off. You can reset the counter to zero at any other time from the menu.

1Press SYSTEM MENU, then SET.

2Use 4 or ¢ to select C.RESET, then press

SET.

The counter returns to zero.
