Upgrading DSET Application Silently On Linux Operating System
To upgrade silently, run the command:
./dell/dset/lx(bit)/<version number>.bin
NOTE:
•If DSET application version 2.2 or lower is currently installed in the system and CIMOM services are not installed or running, then the application cannot be silently upgraded to version 3.7.0.
•For DSET application version 3.2 or later:
–If <full/collector/provider> parameter is provided in the command, then the currently installed DSET application is uninstalled completely and the specified component of version 3.7.0 is installed.
–If <full/collector/provider> parameter is not provided in the command, then the currently installed DSET application component is upgraded to version 3.7.0.
