9. RECEIVE (RX) ICON - Indicates radio is receiving a transmission.

10. POWER/VOLUME KNOB - Turn clock

wise to turn the power on and increase

the volume level. Turn counter-clockwise

to decrease the volume level and turn the

power off.

11. PTT Button - Press and hold to transmit

voice communication. Press twice quickly

to send a call tone.

12. CH 9/16 Button - Press to switch immedi

ately to emergency channel 16. Press and

hold to switch to Channel 9.
