CUIDADO Y MANTENIMIENTO

Con un poco de cuidado por tu parte, tu nueva guitarra VOX mantendrá un impecable aspecto durante años. Cuando termines de tocar limpia la guitarra con un paño suave y limpio. Utiliza un producto de calidad de limpieza de guitarra ocasionalmente, siguiendo las instrucciones del fabricante.

Protege tu guitarra de temperaturas extremas y cambios bruscos de tempe- ratura. Una guitarra dejada en el maletero de un coche con toda la tensión de las cuerdas, literalmente se puede destrozar. Una repentina corriente de aire caliente con la guitarra fría puede dañar la terminación.

Tu nueva guitarra VOX sonará mejor con cuerdas nuevas. Afortunadamente cambiar las cuerdas es fácil. Retira la cuerda vieja y pon la nueva desde la parte trasera del puente. Según vayas enrollando la cuerda por el clavijero, ten en cuenta que la primera vuelta debe estar por encima mientras que el resto deben estar por debajo. La tensión de las cuerdas mantendrá la cuerda enrollada en su sitio, sujetando el extremo libre de la cuerda para una mejor estabilidad de afinación. Será necesario enrollar la cuerda 2 ó 3 veces para asegurar las cuerdas gruesas y unas 4 ó 5 para las normales.
