minus sign/hyphen (-). No blank or space characters are permitted as part of the

name. No distinction is made between upper and lower case. The first character must be an alphabet character. The last character must not be a minus sign/ hyphen.

Special Characters

The HTML language reserves certain characters for specific functions. The device will not accept these characters as part of preset names, the device name, or locally created file names.

The DMP 44 LC rejects the following characters:

{space (spaces are acceptable for names)} + ~ , @ = ‘ [ { } < > ’ “ semicolon (;) colon (:) \ and ?.
