The microphone shall be a 1 inch tube type condenser with a dedicated cardioid pattern. The diaphragm material shall be gold- sputtered mylar foil, and the on-axis sensitivity shall be no less than 20 mV/Pa. The inherent noise floor of the microphone shall be no greater than 20 dB (A-weighted), and the operating sound field for 3% THD shall be no less than 130 dB. The microphone size shall be no greater than 2.5 inches in diameter and 8.62 inches in

length, and the microphone net weight shall be no greater than

2.02pounds. The microphone shall be powered by an external power supply. Facilities for low cut, 12 dB/octave at 100 Hz, and pre-attenuation of 20 dB shall be included. An aluminum flight case, all cabling, isolation shock mount, and windscreen shall be included as standard accessories.The microphone shall be the AKG Acoustics Model SOLIDTUBE.
