AUTO SURR

Selects Auto Surround (Auto playback on page 27) or Stream Direct playback (page 30). When listening to XM Radio, AUTO SURR selects XM HD Surround feature (page 53).

STEREO/F.S.SURR

Switches between stereo playback and Front Stage Surround Advance modes (page 29).

STANDARD

Press for Standard decoding and to switch between the various Pro Logic IIx and Neo:6 options (page 27).

ADV.SURR

Switches between the various surround modes (page 28).

PHASE – Press to switch on/off Phase Control (page 10).

ACOUSTIC EQ – Press to select an Acoustic Calibration EQ setting (page 30).

DIALOG – Use to make dialog stand out when watching TV or a movie (page 32).

SOUND RETRIEVER – Press to restore CD quality sound to compressed audio sources (page 32).

MUTE

Mutes/unmutes the sound.

EFFECT/CH SEL

Press repeatedly to select a channel, then use LEVEL +/– to adjust the level (page 42). Also adjusts the level of the Advanced Surround effects as well as Dolby Pro Logic IIx Music and Neo:6 Music parameters (page 28). You can then use the LEVEL +/– buttons to make these adjustments.
