If you do not have the SidSpeed value, you will need to make one. Right click in the right pane and select New > DWORD Value. (Figure A.21)

Once you have created a new string, name it SidSpeed (Figure A.22)

Finally, double click SidSpeed and change its value data to 3 as outlined above. Press OK and close the Registry Editor.

If you encounter an error during any step of this process (especially Vista users and errors about not having proper rights to alter a registry value), please contact Stanton Technical support. If you made a mistake and need to restore your registry, just double click on the backup you made right before we started and follow the prompts. Reboot afterwards.
