Add B

Click Add Bto add the selected All Surfaces entry to My Surfaces. This connects this Artist device to your instance of EuControl. You can also click and drag an Artist device from All Surfaces to My Surfaces.

Add B is disabled if all Artist devices in All Surfaces are connected to any in- stance of EuControl.

Remove

Click Remove to remove the selected surface from My Surfaces and make it available to other instances of EuControl.

Remove is disabled if no surface is selected.

Update Firmware

Each time a new version of EuControl is installed, each MC Control and MC Mix in your system may need its firmware updated. The firmware is embedded in Eu- Control so an Internet connection is not required.

Select each Artist device in the My Surfaces list (shift-click to select multiple de- vices). Press Update Firmware to update their firmware. If a dialog displays a message that the firmware is up to date, no further action is necessary.

Follow the instructions in the EuControl dialog box.

The Artist devices must be plugged into a working power source.

Do not power off any Artist devices during the update or attempt to interrupt the update.

The status for each Artist device being updated is displayed on that device as well as in the EuControl dialog box.

Control unit banks independently

Select this checkbox to bank independently on a linked MC Control from other linked MC Mixes.

Show Info

Select an Artist device and click Show Info to display the name and hardware/ software information on strip 1’s channel display and in a dialog on the Mac.
