CÓMO HACER LAS CONEXIONES

MIDI

Los terminales MIDI IN y MIDI OUT, situados en el panel de atrás de la unidad, le ofrecen posibilidades musicales más amplias mediante el uso de MIDI. A continuación se verá la descripción de MIDI y cómo se puede usar MIDI con el Digital Drum Set.

¿Qué es MIDI?

MIDI es la abreviatura de Musical Instrument Digital Interface (Interfaz de Instrumento Musical Digital). MIDI es un estándar mundial que posibilita que varios instrumentos musicales electrónicos, y otros dispositivos tales como computadoras, se “comuniquen” entre sí. Por ejemplo, al conectar un generador de tonos MIDI al terminal MIDI OUT del Digital Drum, usted pueden tocar las voces del generador de tonos mediante los pads y pedales de la batería.

El Digital Drum está provisto de dos tipos de terminales MIDI; ambos están localizados en el tablero de atrás.

•MIDI IN

Los datos transmitidos de otros instrumentos MIDI mediante MIDI, se reciben en este terminal.

•MIDI OUT

Los datos producidos por el Digital Drum son transmitidos a otros instrumentos MIDI mediante MIDI desde este terminal.

¿Qué se puede hacer con MIDI?

•Conectar el enchufe MIDI OUT de la batería Digital Drum Set al terminal MIDI IN de un teclado MIDI.

Esta configuración le permite a usted usar el drum pad para controlar otro instrumento MIDI. Tocar los drum pads hará que la voz del otro instrumento MIDI suene simultáneamente, así creando un sonido global más denso.

•Conectar el enchufe MIDI IN de la batería Digital Drum Set al terminal MIDI OUT de un teclado MIDI.

En esta configuración, se puede usar la batería digital como un generador de tonos, y sus voces se pueden tocar desde un teclado MIDI. Usando un teclado como el controlador, es posible tocar las voces de la batería que no han sido asignadas a los pads/pedales.

•Conectar el enchufe MIDI OUT de la batería Digital Drum Set al terminal MIDI IN de un secuenciador MIDI.

Los datos producidos por la batería Digital Drum se pueden grabar a un secuenciador MIDI. Los datos también se puden grabar en computadoras u otro secuenciador.

•Conectar el enchufe MIDI IN de la batería Digital Drum Set al terminal MIDI OUT de un secuenciador MIDI.

Los datos del secuenciador se pueden usar para hacer funcionar el sonido de la batería.
