Grill Assembly — 8100 Series

Interior Parts Installation

1.Insert the row of three heat tents with the triangle ridges facing up (Fig. 33).

2.Install the three cooking grates on the ledges provided on the grill to create your cooking surface (Fig. 34).

3.Place the warming shelf on the support brackets. The end support rods slip inside the slots in the support brackets (Fig. 34).

4.Remove the label from the drip tray. Open the door and install the drip tray by sliding it into position as shown (Fig. 35). The drip tray is located underneath the grill, inside the storage compartment.

Igniter Battery Installation

1.The AA battery, spring and igniter cap must be installed before using (Fig. 36).

2.Install the AA battery, negative end first.

3.Slide the spring assembly over the battery.

4.Screw the igniter cap onto the igniter (Fig. 37).

Test the Igniter:

A spark should appear at electrode tips. If the spark does not appear:

-Check the wire connections to the electrode module. -Check the proper assembly of a fresh AA battery.
