?COMMENT FONCTIONNE LE UA-767 PLUS

Les tensiomètres LifeSource® sont facile à utiliser, précis et avec affichage numérique de la mesure. Notre technologie est basée sur la méthode oscil- lométrique. Le terme « oscillation » se réfère à toute mesure de vibration causée par le pouls artériel. Notre tensiomètre étudie la pression du pouls générée par le mur de l'artère pendant que celle-ci prends de l'expansion et se contracte sur le brassard avec chaque battement du coeur.

Le brassard est gonflé jusqu'à ce que l'artère est complètement bloquée. La vitesse du gonflage est portée au maximum et le niveau de la pression est optimisé par l'appareil. Les mesures sont prises par le moniteur pendant que le brassard se gonfle et se dégonfle. Le résultat en est une mesure plus rapide qui fournit plus de confort à l'utilisateur.

PRÉPARATIFS

Insérer 4 piles AA (1,5 volts) (les piles alcalines sont recommandées) ou utiliser l’adaptateur c.a. (voir p. F-11 «Utilisation du tensiomètre avec un adaptateur c.a.») et attacher le brassard au tensiomètre avant de l’utiliser. Pour installer les piles (ou les remplacer si le symbole des «piles faibles» apparaît à l'écran), veuillez procéder comme suit:

1.Retirer le couvercle du compartiment à piles en appuyant doucement sur la flèche et en le glissant vers le bas.

2.Placer les piles dans la dernière rangée du compartiment des piles pour débuter. Les placer en observant bien le positif (+) et le négatif (-) tel que démontré à l'intérieur du compartiment. Vous assurer que les piles font contact avec les terminaux.

3.Replacer le couvercle en le glissant dans le compartiment et en appuyant doucement.
