Your PMV requires two
!Charge your PMV’s batteries prior to using it for the first time.
!Keep the batteries fully charged to keep your PMV running smoothly.
READING YOUR BATTERY VOLTAGE
The battery condition meter on the tiller console indicates the approximate strength of your batteries using a color code. See figure 11. From right to left, green indicates fully charged batteries, yellow a draining charge, and red indicates that an immediate recharge is necessary.
NOTE: To ensure the highest accuracy, the battery condition meter should be checked while operating your PMV at full speed on a dry, level surface.

Follow these easy steps to charge your batteries safely:
1.Position your PMV close to a standard electrical outlet.
2.Remove the key from the key switch.
3.Make certain that the manual freewheel lever is in the drive position.
4.Plug the charger power cord into the charger port on your PMV.

6.When the batteries are fully charged, unplug the charger power cord from the electrical outlet and then from the charger port.
NOTE: There is a charger inhibit function on your PMV. The PMV will not run and the battery condi- tion meter will not operate while the batteries are charging.
