Battery Charging

Correct battery charging prolongs the life of your batteries.

Connection Instructions

When you receive your vehicle the batteries are only partially charged – fully charge before use preferably over night.

1.Place your machine in an area that is dry and well ventilated. Make sure a 110/120 volt outlet is nearby.

2.Check that the vehicle is switched off and the key removed.

3.Check that the main switch is off. Never connect or disconnect the charger with the main switch on.

4.Connect the charger to the battery (page 25).

5.Connect the plug and switch on the charger.

6.The power illuminates red when switched on. The charger light changes to green when charged.

7.Turn off the main switch and remove the plug from the battery when fully charged. Do not leave the charger plugged in with the power off. This will discharge your battery.

You can charge your battery on or off the vehicle. To remove the battery see page 21.
