3.Makes sure the ramp is free of any debris or obstacles that may interfere with the safe passage of your power wheelchair.

If the slope or ramp meets the above conditions, it is recommended the user approaches the ramp at a reduced speed and head on. Once on the slope or ramp, the user should maintain a constant but safe speed over the entire length of the slope or ramp. If the ramp does not meet the above conditions, the user should ask for help from an assistant or find a safer, but alternate route.
